DevZero, a Seattle-based startup specializing in a platform for cloud-based software development environments, has raised $26M through two separate funding rounds.

Additionally, the company’s cloud development platform is now generally available.

More:

  • The $26M comes from a recent $21M Series A round led by Anthos Capital and a previously unannounced $5M seed round.
  • DevZero was founded by Debo Ray, a former engineer at Uber. Ray was responsible for migrating development environments from devices to the cloud.
  • The startup’s platform enables developers to write and test code in cloud environments.
  • The cloud development platform purports to save developers time and money with configuration options to generate cloud environments locally and centrally managed templates that allow developers to start coding in seconds.
