B2B sales engagement platform maker Salesloft appointed David Obrand as the firm's new CEO and board member.
He succeeds former CEO and co-founder Kyle Porter, who will remain on
the company's board. Obrand is tasked with guiding the company through
its next stage of growth.
- Prior to joining Salesloft, Obrand was the president of Addepar, where he led the firm's go-to-market efforts.
- Obrand
has held stints as a chief customer officer at Yammer and vice
president and senior enterprise sales leader at Salesforce.
- Per Crunchbase, Atlanta-based Salesloft has raised $245.7M in venture funding, the last of which came in the form of a $100M Series E round led by Owl Rock Capital in January 2021.
- In January 2023, private equity firm Vista Equity Partners acquired Salesloft for $2.3B, representing a 23x revenue multiple.
