Bosch Ventures leads $50.5M for quantum computing company Motion

 


Bosch Ventures has led a $50.5M funding round for Motion to build quantum computing capabilities. 

Porsche also participated in the round.

Motion builds silicon-based quantum chips that enable the improvement of quantum computers.

  • The company was founded by two Oxford and UCL professors.
  • In addition to Bosch and Porsche, the U.K. government’s National Security Strategic Investment Fund also participated in this round.
  • The company is based in London, U.K.
  • Since its inception in 2017, the company has raised $70.5M in funding.
