NatWest Group has acquired

 

NatWest Group has acquired 85% of U.K.-based fintech and pension investment company Cushon for $175M.  

The deal is currently pending regulatory approval.


  • Cushon is a pension investment company that enables companies to replace their employee pension plans with environmentally-friendly pension investment plans that deploy funds in sustainable companies.
  • The fund, called Net Zero Plan, invests exclusively in companies that have a net-zero emission impact.
  • Before the acquisition, the 2014-founded company raised over $80M.
  • NatWest Group is the largest business and commercial bank in the U.K.
  • The company claims that it has over 19 million customers.
  • NatWest Group stated that the acquisition enables the company to offer a suite of financial products.
