Chinese theater director Meng Jinghui announced a new metaverse theater festival that will debut in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
The "Sphinx Meta Theater Festival," named after the Egyptian mythological creature, will seek out international links with cities including New York, Paris, and Berlin with the help of technology.
The festival runs from April 15 to May 7, featuring a metaverse theater stage and interactive multimedia exhibits.
