The Arbitrum Foundation has announced that it is going to drop a new token and form a DAO.
The token will be airdropped on March 23.
- According to the statement, ARB holders will be able to vote on crucial management decisions regarding Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova.
- One and Nova are two blockchain networks that aim to enable users to transact on the Ethereum blockchain faster and cheaper than is possible with other solutions.
- ARB’s total circulation will be 10 billion.
- The Arbitrum community will control 56%, while the rest 44% will go to the investors and employees of Offchain Labs, the development firm that built Arbitrum.
- The remaining community tokens will go to a treasury controlled by the new Arbitrum DAO.
