In her latest Twitter post, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has implied that she is building an anti-crypto re-election campaign.
The video in the post showed that Warren plans to create an anti-crypto army in the U.S. as part of her electioneering.
The senator has also mentioned her past achievements in the tweet, including making over-the-counter hearing aids available and her proposal to reduce the daily cost of childcare to $10.
- Sen. Warren is famous for her strict approach toward crypto adoption.
- In December 2022, she proposed a bill titled the Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2022 with Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), which was widely criticized due to the legislation’s dangerous implications for the crypto industry.
- The proposed legislation requires all decentralized entities and crypto-related firms to follow the same strict anti-money laundering (AML) rules as traditional banks.
- Warren plans to reintroduce the bill this year.
