Megaphone launches broadcast to podcast

 

Spotify's Megaphone announced the launch of broadcast-to-podcast technology.   This allows creators to convert broadcasted radio content to podcasts.  All Megaphone partners in worldwide markets will offer this capability.  The goal is to facilitate connecting traditionally broadcast-first publishers to connect with younger audiences who "prefer to get their news" via podcasts.  The blog shares that this process requires a one-time setup, and then users can create podcasts from broadcast content.
