VMware is introducing a slew of new security features to bolster security across multi-cloud environments and help organizations gain visibility into potential threats. Among
the new capabilities are IT phishing protections and IT management
features in Workspace ONE, features for Carbon Black, an enhanced
firewall service, and an offering designed to help organizations achieve
governance and compliance.

software giant has added a DPU-based acceleration that uses SmartNICs
to enable the accelerated performance of VMware NSX, the company’s
software-defined data center network virtualization platform.

VMware Carbon Black Workload and Cloud Configuration for security help
secure multi-cloud environments by enabling customers to view security
as a continuous process across a workload’s lifecycle.
- Organizations
can now achieve borderless governance for applications with VMware
Secure App IX, designed to help organizations achieve governance and
compliance by securely connecting applications in multi-cloud
environments while enabling application teams and LOBs to boost their
digital innovation initiatives.
