Renewable energy manufacturing company Avaada has raised a $1B funding round.
The Brookfield Global Transition Fund led the round.
- Avaada Group is an integrated energy platform that operates in verticals such as:
- solar cell manufacturing,
- renewable power generation,
- green hydrogen,
- and green ammonia production.
- Avaada currently operates a renewable energy portfolio of 4 GW and aims to use this funding to scale up to 30 GW by 2030.
- Its solar manufacturing business is in the advanced stages of developing a manufacturing facility for wafers, cells, and modules.
- Avaada is based in Mumbai, India.
