What happened: U.S. employers are increasingly seeking ChatGPT skills from potential employees, according to a new report from Acendance. Details: The career development site found that nearly half (45%) of the jobs demanding ChatGPT skills are in tech, either software development or IT services. However, 55% of job opportunities extend across a large range of non-tech industries. By the numbers: Remote work is prevalent in ChatGPT jobs, with a quarter of all positions being fully remote. The states with the most ChatGPT jobs are California (19%), Texas (10%), and North Carolina (7%), while many of the remaining 52% of jobs are located in states without as large of a tech industry.
