The job listing hints at AI's role in content creation and its integration across all areas of the business. Netflix is also hiring a technical director for generative AI at its gaming studio for up to $650,000 annually. Meanwhile, striking actors have rejected a controversial proposal offering them one-time payment to grant companies ownership and perpetual use of their AI-scanned likenesses without future consent or compensation. Actor Bryan Cranston, speaking at a rally on Tuesday, reaffirmed actors' determination to protect their jobs and dignity from automation. "We will not have you take away our right to work and earn a decent living," he said.
