California-based enterprise software startup Forward Networks has raised a $50M Series D funding round led by MSD Partners to enhance its digital twin modeling software. 

The company has not disclosed its total valuation but has raised $116M since it was founded in 2013.

  • Forward Networks claims to have ‘the most advanced’ digital twin technology. According to its website, its digital twin software enables network, security, and cloud operations teams to troubleshoot issues faster and maintain complete control over a network. 
  • Enterprises can leverage digital twin technology to operate and maintain their networks. Forward Networks says its digital twin modeling software addresses network complexity issues by collecting configuration and informing devices to accurately depict and predict behavior. 
  • Forward can be used with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
