1. Connected car software company Otonomo reported $2.1M in revenue, up from $1.1M in Q4 2022, and a GAAP operating loss of $17.2M in Q4 2022, from -$16.2M the year prior. Earlier this week, Otonomo announced a merger with digital roadside assistance company Urgently.

2. BP announced its plans to invest $1B in EV charging in the U.S. by 2030, including stations at Hertz locations in major cities. The energy company launched a charging station at a Hertz location near Los Angeles International Airport in October 2022.

3. Magna International announced a $470M investment into its operations in Ontario, Canada, including a facility in Brampton to produce battery enclosures for the Ford F-150 Lightning. Earlier this week, Magna revealed its plans to build battery enclosures for General Motors' Chevy Silverado EV. 

4. Kansas City International Airport handled 9.82 million passengers in 2022, reaching 300 flights per day. A $1.5B terminal is set to open at the airport next month.

5. Chinese state-owned Sinochem Holdings Corp. is reportedly considering selling a 37% stake in Italian tire manufacturer Pirelli. Sinochem became the leading investor in Pirelli in 2015.

6. LATAM Airlines revealed its interest in acquiring Colombian airline Viva Air. LATAM would have to outbid Avianca and JetSmart, which have individually expressed interest in acquiring the low-budget airline.

7. Dubai will allow only electric vehicles to operate as taxi cabs starting in 2027. Last month, New York City revealed its plan for all ride-share trips to be fully electric by 2030.
