Caldera has raised a $9M funding round led by Sequoia to offer a no-code Web3 development platform.
The platform is used in DeFi, gaming, DAOs, etc.
- The company aims to help users build rollups without writing code.
- It claims that this solution enables users to:
- Handle thousands of transactions per second, with sub-second confirmation times.
- Have low and predictable fees.
- Pay for gas in a project's native token or remove gas fees entirely.
- Caldera claims that its target user is someone who can code Ethereum smart contracts but who doesn't have a good understanding of how the blockchain works.
- This funding round will be used to hire more engineering staff so that it can ship its product by this summer.
- Dragonfly Capital also participated in the round.
- The company was founded in 2022.
