Chris Tyrer, head of digital assets at Fidelity Investments, has departed the firm.  He served as president of Fidelity Digital Asset Management before leading the institutional side.  Fidelity launched its crypto-focused institutional custody and trading platform, Fidelity Digital Assets, in 2018. The firm is one of the first financial services firms to offer crypto trading services. Tyrer's led his team to launch Fidelity Crypto, a commission-free trading product for retail investors to buy and sell Bitcoin and ether on the platform. The platform also offers zero-commision trading for Bitcoin and Ether.
