Coca-Cola partners with Open AI

Coca-Cola has become the first corporation to sign onto a new program created through a partnership between Bain & Company and OpenAI to leverage AI for marketing purposes.

While many companies have independently been using OpenAI's technology, Bain & Company, like Microsoft, has a unique agreement with OpenAI which should provide their clients with the most specialized and advanced versions of GPT.

Through the partnership, Coke will be able to use DALL.E and ChatGPT to create personalized advertising copy, targeted messaging, and custom marketing images.

  • Zack Kass, OpenAI's head of go-to-market products, claims that the AI strategy being employed by Coke is the "most ambitious" of any consumer goods company.
  • Coca-Cola's chief executive James Quincey said AI will allow the company to "unleash the next generation of creativity."
  • The cost and scope of the deal have not been made public.
