Jeonghwa Arts College in Seoul has partnered with South Korea's telecom firms KT and Dot-mill to recreate the college into a metaverse world for young students familiar with VR activities. 

The virtual campus created through collaboration with the immersive content producer will let students take classes and participate in various online college events.

The new virtual art university platform, "Metaversity," is where students can attend courses demanding firsthand experiences.

    • The admin office will also be operating from the virtual art school.
  • Jeongwha Arts College will use a non-fungible token (NFT)-based academic management system, 
  • In November 2022, South Korea-based Cheongju University partnered with mobile carrier LG Uplus to build a virtual campus for students to take courses and receive career-related guidance.
