The Finnish National Opera and Ballet (FNOB) partnered with XR/VR tech firm Varjo to become the first opera house to use immersive technology to produce a full-scale opera. FNOB worked with Helsinki-based Varjo to build a digital twin of the performance hall. FNOB estimates that the digital twin saved 20% of budgeted labor costs, 1,500 hours of work, and €75,000 (~$80,000) of budget.
