Generation Space, which is part of British space investment firm Seraphim Space, will launch an accelerator program in the U.S.   The program will give more than $150M in funding to 12 startups. The program will mainly support entrepreneurs working on climate technology, defense, communications, and mobility. Generation Space already has a European Seraphim Space accelerator program. Since 2018 this program has raised $240M in equity funding from 90 venture capital firms. Due to the challenging economic outlook, funding for the space industry in 2022 saw a decrease larger than 50% when compared to 2021.
