During a metro train tunnel construction project in Amsterdam, engineers discovered thousands of artifacts.
Now, an underground archaeological museum with nearly 10,000 artifacts has opened at Rokin station in the center of the city.
Archaeologists uncovered various artifacts, including 115,000-year-old mollusk shells, medieval relics, and vintage cell phones.
- The items are on display at Rokin subway station, where many artifacts were excavated from the bottom of Amsterdam's city center.
