SIF raises $351M to construct world’s largest monopile foundation manufacturing plant

 

SIF has raised a $351M funding round to construct the world's largest monopile foundation manufacturing plant.  The company provides offshore wind turbine foundations. The funding was led by Ecowende, Equinor, and Egeria. SIF claims that the funding will be used to build the world's largest monopile foundation manufacturing plant, which is planned to be located in Rotterdam. The company expects that the plant will boost its annual revenue to $171M starting in 2026. Founded in 1948, the company has 600 employees. SIF is based in The Netherlands and is publically traded on the Euronext: Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
