Sony has just launched a version of its Creators’ Cloud designed for individual content creators and small content teams.
Creators’ Cloud is a cloud-powered media solution that leverages Sony’s camera technology and cloud-based AI to support creative work for shooting and production.
Creators’ Cloud allows users to upload footage from mobile devices to cloud storage via the Creators’ App.
- The service provides connectivity with cameras and other devices so that users can shoot remotely and store camera settings directly in the cloud, thus enabling modifications anytime, anywhere.
- An extensive range of cloud-based production apps and services can be accessed through Creators’ Cloud, notably Master Cut, which applies cloud-based AI to edit videos, Ci Media Cloud for collaborative projects, and Discover, which allows content creators to share their work with a global network of content creators.
Creators’ Cloud debuted in Sept. 2022, and up until now, the media solution was only available for professional and enterprise users.
- Sony offers 5GB free of charge for any Creators’ Cloud account holders and 25GB for owners of select Sony cameras.
