The popular British sitcom Fawlty Towers is set to get a sequel.
Former cast member John Cleese reached a deal with Castle Rock Entertainment to write and star in the new show alongside his daughter, Camilla Cleese.
- Fawlty Towers ran for two seasons on the BBC between 1975 and 1979.
- The show covered the lives of Basil and Sybil Fawlty as the fictional English couple struggled to manage their boutique hotel business while keeping their marriage afloat.
- Cleese will return as Basil Fawlty in the sequel while his real-life daughter, Camilla, will play his fictional daughter in the show.
- The new series will see Basil Fawlty team up with his daughter to run the fictional hotel amid the challenges of the modern world.
