Yuga Labs, the firm behind the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) NFTs, introduced its first-ever NFT collection on the Bitcoin network, TwelveFold.
The BAYC creator will auction off the new collection later this week.
The TwelveFold project was entirely designed and created by Yuga Labs’ art team.
- The collection consists of 300 limited-edition Ordinals NFT pieces that are all 12x12 grids, different from other Yuga Labs collections containing 10,000 or more NFTs.
- The project will also be distinguished from Yuga Labs’ other NFT collections, like BAYC and CryptoPunks, in terms of not living on the Ethereum blockchain.
- The pieces include both hand-drawn and 3D elements.
- The auction date and time will be announced 24 hours before the sale.
Ordinals are digital assets permanently attached to a satoshi, or 1/100,000,000 of one full bitcoin.
