Alibaba Cloud to open a blockchain lab in Japan

 

Alibaba Cloud shared that it will open a blockchain laboratory in Shibuya, Japan, next month.   The Chinese company says its blockchain lab will enable Japanese game developers to discover new business opportunities in Web3.  Alibaba is launching its new blockchain lab with Tokyu Real Estate Co. via a partnership with Skeleton Crew Studio, an independent game development studio and VR content developer.  For the time being, the blockchain lab will be exclusively accessible to a select group of customers and hackathon participants already working on collaborative projects with Alibaba Cloud.  Engineers from partner firms specializing in Alibaba Cloud will be on-site to provide technical support.  Regular seminars, workshops, and networking events will be offered at Alibaba’s blockchain lab to help developers learn and explore the latest developments in Web3 technology.
