Amazon announced yesterday that it now has 3,000 Rivian trucks in its growing fleet of electric vehicles.  

The e-commerce giant has tripled the number of emissions-free vehicles it reported in November.

  • In 2019, Amazon agreed to order 100,000 electric vans from Rivian in a bid to decarbonize its logistics operations.
  • By November 2022, Amazon had taken possession of over 1,000 Rivian vans.
  • Amazon announced yesterday that its electric delivery fleet is now running in more than 500 cities in the U.S.
  • Amazon's electric trucks have reportedly made 75 million deliveries.
