Amazon announced yesterday that it now has 3,000 Rivian trucks in its growing fleet of electric vehicles.   The e-commerce giant has tripled the number of emissions-free vehicles it reported in November. In 2019, Amazon agreed to order 100,000 electric vans from Rivian in a bid to decarbonize its logistics operations. By November 2022, Amazon had taken possession of over 1,000 Rivian vans. Amazon announced yesterday that its electric delivery fleet is now running in more than 500 cities in the U.S. Amazon's electric trucks have reportedly made 75 million deliveries.
