Arrested" stays on Netflix

Netflix signed a new deal to keep all five seasons of "Arrested Development" as a streaming exclusive in the US.

It was previously announced that Netflix would drop the show on March 15 at the end of its previous licensing deal, but it was never removed from the service.

  • The first three seasons of the iconic comedy series were produced for the Fox network starting in 2003; the final two were released by Netflix in 2013 and 2019.
  • The first three seasons were previously streaming on Hulu but will be removed from that platform.
  • Disney-owned 20th Television will hang on to the show's broadcast rights, and could potentially sell them to an outside company or hold them for its own cable networks.
