Beauty brand Versed has hired Kerry Sullivan as its new CEO.
She replaced Katherine Power, who left Versed to become CEO of D2C beauty brand Merit Beauty.
Sullivan brings D2C experience, having previously served as the chief marketing officer of Dollar Shave Club.
- Versed is a "clean" brand that has sold its products through its D2C website since 2019.
- The brand has increased its presence at physical retailers, including rolling out at 3,000 Walmart stores in February 2022.
- The clean beauty market was valued at $7B in 2022 and is expected to grow.
