Chinese multinational tech giant Lenovo has just launched a new software suite designed to enable the deployment of edge solutions.
The company’s new software solutions include Lenovo Cloud Automation (LOC-A), Lenovo XClarity, and ThinkEdge SE10
LOC-A is said to enable rapid global edge deployments in multiple locations by automating the deployment of ThinkEdge clients and servers at scale.
- Lenovo XClarity is an edge-to-cloud management software that purports to provide unified insight into all Lenovo edge-to-cloud solutions.
- The new ThinkEdge SE10 client device handles real-time data aggregation and processing with higher performance options. It is built to scale an organization’s IT environment and adapt to business growth and changes.
- Lenovo is collaborating with the city of Barcelona by providing its ThinkEdge servers to enable tourist multimedia content on smartphones that showcase videos of the city’s major attractions, such as La Sagrada Familia Church, as well as a virtual personal shopper for the city’s Mercat de la Concepcio.
