emma, a Luxembourg-based startup with a no-code platform for multi-cloud management, has raised a $6M funding round led by RTP Global.
The startup’s platform addresses the complexity and costs associated with multi-cloud management.
Founded in 2021, emma aims to enable users to reap the benefits of a multi-cloud approach while optimizing performance and reducing costs and complexity.
- Research from Virtana found that more than 82% of enterprises surveyed were leveraging a multi-cloud strategy in 2022, but that “the complexities and of hybrid multi-cloud environments are forcing organizations to look for new ways to improve their management capabilities.”
- The platform is said to leverage a real-time database of pricing offers from a range of cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Alibaba Cloud, and more. Platform users can search for available offers based on the cloud provider, location, and instance configuration.
- The startup plans to use its fresh funds to expand internationally, specifically to the U.S.
