Indian digital healthcare startup HealthPlix secured $22M in Series C funding, bringing its total raised to date to $36M. 

HealthPlix, which develops patient electronic medical report management software, intends to use the proceeds to expand its reach in the country, grow its team size, and onboard more doctors on its platform. 

The round consists of $20M in equity and $2M in debt. 

  • Avataar Venture Partners and SIG Venture Capital led the funding round with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, JSW Ventures, Kalaari Capital, and Chiratae Ventures. 
  • Part of the fresh funds will be diverted to explore new insurance and payment product options. 
  • Co-founder and CEO Sandeep Gudibanda reported a 3.5x revenue growth last year. 
    • This year, the firm is expecting revenue growth of 2.5x to 3.5x.
