McDonald's appointed Tabassum Zalotrawala as the new Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for its U.S. business.
The appointment is part of McDonald's strategy to continue long-term growth and accelerate the development of new restaurants.
Zalotrawala is joining McDonald's from Chipotle Mexican Grill, where she served as its Chief Development Officer and led its global execution of real estate.
- One of her projects for Chipotle Mexican Grill was named one of the Most Innovative Projects of 2020 by Fast Company.
- She has held leadership positions focused on real estate, design, and construction at Panda Restaurant Group and Arby's Restaurant Group.
- Zalotrawala will be in charge of advancing McDonald's aggressive push to build new restaurants.
