Precision medicine startup Artera secured $90M in venture funding.

  Artera, which is leveraging AI to personalize therapy for cancer patients, intends to use the proceeds to distribute its ArteraAI Prostate Tests across the U.S. and internationally. 

  • Coatue, Johnson & Johnson Innovation, TIME Ventures, KOCH Disruptive, Walden Catalyst Ventures, Breyer Capital, and The Factory participated in the fundraiser. 
  • The firm currently develops prognostic cancer tests to detect prostate cancer but intends to develop tests to support therapy personalization of other cancers with the incoming funds. 
  • Artera last raised a $45M Series C round led by Lead Edge Capital in November 2020. 
  • Per Crunchbase, the firm has raised over $135M to date.
