Salesforce announced Einstein GPT, an offering that incorporates generative AI tools to assist marketers, customer service agents, and salespeople.
The technology, which integrates with Salesforce's customer relationship management (CRM), uses AI to automatically generate personalized emails, marketing copy, responses to customer questions, and computer code for developers.
- Customers will be able to "use natural-language prompts directly within their Salesforce CRM to generate content that continuously adapts to changing customer information and needs in real-time," according to the company.
- Salesforce says Einetsin GPT incorporates both its own AI models and those from OpenAI and other third parties.
- The AI software will rely on data from the Salesforce data cloud, enabling customers to create content from their own company's data.
- Salesforce said it would release Einstein GPT across its product platform at a later unidentified date.
- Additionally, Salesforce is bringing ChatGPT to Slack, its workplace messaging platform.
- The AI app can summarize conversation threads and respond to queries. Slack users can use it to draft replies to co-workers "in seconds." The chatbot can also display Salesforce data.
- Workplaces can sign up for the beta ChatGPT app for Slack waitlist here.
