Tesla will host its first Investor Day event today, when it's expected to share details on its third "Master Plan" and a future manufacturing plant in Mexico.
Other potential topics include Tesla's Cybertruck, Roadster, robotaxi, Full Self-Driving, battery technology, and a more affordable electric vehicle.
- During the event, CEO Elon Musk is expected to present the third part of his "master plan" laying out Tesla's long-term goals.
- Master Plan 3 will involve "the path to a fully sustainable energy future for Earth," Musk tweeted. The plan will center on "scaling to extreme size, which is needed to shift humanity away from fossil fuels, and AI."

to Reuters, a more affordable vehicle could be the "centerpiece" of
Tesla's plan. Musk previously put off the creation of a $25,000 "Model 2" compact EV. Reuters reports that Tesla may announce a revamp of its Model Y at the event.
- Additionally, Musk is expected to confirm Tesla's plans to launch its Cybertruck this year and build its fifth global car manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico, among other topics.
- The event starts at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT today at the company's Texas Gigafactory near Austin.
