U.S bookseller Barnes & Noble will launch a digital portal for academic materials.
The company currently operates 770 stores on university campuses across the U.S.
Barnes & Noble College, a subsidiary of Barnes & Noble Education Inc., will launch the platform, which it calls a digital "concierge service," at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
- The service, named First Day Complete, will deliver all the customer's required course materials on or before their first day of classes.
- Materials provided through the service include textbooks, lab manuals, access codes, digital materials, and electronic books.
- First Day Complete will be released in time for the university's fall 2023 academic semester.
