Web3 accelerator Seed Club announced its venture division, Seed Club Ventures, had closed a $25M fund.

The venture arm has been working in stealth mode since Q3 of 2021. Seed Club Ventures' investment thesis revolves around "shifting from Web2-created platforms like YouTube toward Web3 creator economies."

Seed Club will back pre-seed and seed-stage startups building Web3 infrastructure, applications, and tools for decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).

  • In addition, it intends to back AI, art, and music-focused startups.
  • It has already backed startups like Guild, Stability AI, Lens, and Metalabel.
  • Individual ticket sizes will range from $100,000 to $1M.
  • Seed Club Ventures backers include crypto-focussed VCs such as Multicoin Capital, Delphi Digital, and Dragonfly Capital.
