Charles Redfield plans to resign as Walmart's chief merchandising officer.  He leaves as Walmart forecasts slower sales and profit growth for 2023. Redfield worked at Walmart for 32 years. He has served as chief operating officer since January 2022. Redfield is leaving to spend more time with his family, according to Walmart U.S. CEO John Furner. Walmart expects to see same-store sales growth of between 2% and 2.5% this fiscal year.
