The Daytime Emmy Awards will remain on CBS and Paramount+ for another two years.
This year's ceremony -- which honors the best in soap operas, talk
shows, game shows, and other morning and afternoon TV programming -- is
scheduled for Friday, June 16.
- For the
past three years, the Daytime Emmy Awards show has aired on CBS; before
that, it bounced around between a number of networks.
- Last year's ceremony averaged around 2.8 million viewers on CBS.
- From 2016 to 2019, the show lacked a broadcast partner entirely.
- This year marks the show's 50th anniversary.
