Technology-focused hybrid fund-of-funds VC firm Peakview Capital raised an undisclosed sum from investors toward its latest fund. The latest fund brings its total assets under management (AUM) to over $500M. Peakview will invest the majority of the funding into top-tier VC funds. The firm will set aside a small portion of the capital for direct investments. - The fund aims to provide "optimal risk-adjusted returns with our concentrated strategy," per Peakview's managing partner Erik Lassila.
- Lassila adds, "With the go-forward era of lower valuations, we look forward to putting our capital to work."
- The firm hired Tyler Hartsock and Kevin McQuillan as partners.
- Previously Hartsock was a partner at Next Play Capital, and McQuillan was the co-founder and general partner at Focus Ventures.
