A bankruptcy judge authorized the sale of BuyBuy Baby's trademark and digital assets to baby products manufacturer Dream On Me.

The bankrupt retailer's brick-and-mortar locations will shut down.

BuyBuy Baby was put up for sale by Bed Bath & Beyond as the bankrupt retailer liquidated its assets.

  • Dream On Me made a stalking horse bid of $15.5M to acquire BuyBuy Baby's intellectual property, including its apps and websites, and will buy it for that price.
  • Judge Vincent Papalia approved the sale on Tuesday.
