GitLab announced the availability of GitLab for Visual Studio in beta from the Visual Studio Marketplace with support for AI-based code suggestions for GitLab SaaS and GitLab self-managed. According to the recently published Stack Overflow 2023 Developer Survey, increased productivity and quicker learning were the top benefits for developers in using AI tools.
