Nonfarm payroll employment saw a rise in 84 metropolitan regions, a decrease in one, and remained virtually the same in 304, with significant job growth noted in New York-Newark-Jersey City, New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania, Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, and Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim.
