In Q2 of 2023, the U.S. median weekly earnings for full-time wage and salary workers were $1,100, an increase of 5.7% from the previous year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The report also revealed various disparities: women earned 84.1% of men's earnings, with variations across ethnicities. In addition, earnings varied significantly by race, with Asian workers earning the most and Hispanic workers earning the least. Earnings also increased with age and education level, and workers in management, professional, and related occupations earned the most.
