NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has emphasized the transformative potential

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has emphasized the transformative potential of digital twin technology in advancing climate research.

Digital twins, virtual models replicating complex systems, are being used to simulate natural phenomena like weather patterns and climate dynamics, providing critical insights into climate patterns and their impacts.

Huang spoke at the Berlin Summit for the Earth Virtualization Engines (EVE) initiative.

    • EVE is a global initiative for harnessing the power of digital twin technology, AI, and high-performance computing in climate prediction and sustainable planet management.
  • NVIDIA's GH200 Grace Hopper Superchip facilitates the processing of vast amounts of climate data, driving breakthroughs in climate modeling and prediction.
  • The scalability and efficiency of the computing infrastructure allow digital twins to process and visualize vast amounts of climate data interactively.
  • Through the Earth-2 initiatives, collaboration with climate researchers and policymakers has been fostered, supporting the integration of AI and accelerated computing into digital twin frameworks.
  • NVIDIA Modulus enables researchers to fine-tune physics-based machine learning models, empowering digital twins to learn and predict complex climate patterns.
