The TSX was down on Monday after stocks fell early in the day.
- The deadline to finalize a deal under which Rogers will acquire Shaw has been extended from today to Feb. 17.
- As part of the deal, Shaw will sell Freedom Mobile to Videotron to comply with anti-competition laws.
- The agreement needs to be approved by Industry Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne.
