London-based startup PHINXT Robotics has raised a £600,000 ($739,000) seed round to support its cloud-based platform that provides automation and robotics for small to medium-sized warehouses.

The funding round was led by various VCs and angel investors, including Fuel Ventures, Atlas Ventures, APX, Prequel Ventures, and others.

  • Many businesses use robotics automation to maintain a competitive edge in the logistics and manufacturing industries. Despite this, some companies are reluctant to incorporate robotics automation in their warehouses due to its high costs.
  • PHINXT aims to democratize robotic automation for small and medium-sized businesses by offering a more affordable option.
  • According to its website, PHINXT’s software solution is equipped with a cloud-based control panel that provides live updates of a company’s warehouse status, modular cloud apps that assist with tasks such as order picking, replenishing, parcel sorting, and materials handling, and an extensible cloud integration engine that automatically links to a company’s warehouse management system.
  • The startup plans to use its funds to trial its first product
