Mirantis, an open-source cloud computing software company, has acquired Shipa, a startup specializing in tools that facilitate the deployment and development of cloud-native applications.
The acquisition reportedly cost between $10M and $30M.

- Mirantis intends to leverage the acquisition by integrating Shipa into its Lens platform, dubbed "the largest and most advanced Kubernetes platform in the world."

Lens platform is said to work with any Kubernetes, reduce complexity,
and boost productivity. Its core features include a team environment to
collaborate on cloud-native development, enhanced end-to-end security,
and commercial support.
- The Lens platform boasts one million users, with 50% of the Fortune 100 companies using it.
