Nicole Kidman signed on to star in the HBO limited series "The Perfect Nanny," based on the novel by Leïla Slimani.   "Pen15" vet Maya Erskine created the limited series and wrote the adaptation; she'll also co-star alongside Kidman. The story centers on a couple who hire a seemingly perfect nanny to watch over their two young children, only to find that she has a secret, sinister agenda. Kidman and Erskine are also on board the project as executive producers. This is Kidman's third recent project for HBO, following the drama series "Big Little Lies" and the limited series "The Undoing." Erskine is also set to co-star in Amazon's upcoming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" series, opposite Donald Glover.
